Position Summary

This is a key position to support our Supply Side Platforms, the largest and fastest growing revenue engine within InMobi. In this role, you’ll be working closely with the GM of our sell side platforms as part of the Growth and Strategy team, driving multiple strategic and operational initiatives for the platform.

You will ensure business and operating excellence continues apace to be successful in the long term. You will interact with leaders of all functions in the business to drive various aspects of work: sales, business development, account management, regional market leaders, product management, engineering, product marketing, and field marketing. 

This is an individual contributor role but with an exit into a line role in 18-24 months. In this role, you will report into the Director of Growth and S&O, based out of the US, as part of a 5 people team that is based out of the Bangalore and London offices. Some of the stakeholder teams are concentrated in Bangalore so some travel will be required to India and also possibly to the US, where a lot of the leadership is based out of.

You are passionate not only about solving problems, but about getting to the heart of them to solve the best way, not just any way. You have the drive and tenacity to get the job done, and to inspire your team members to do the same. You have experience of working in an extremely fast-paced and fluid environment where ideas can be obsolete within 6 months or less. You are hands-on in solving business challenges and can prioritize ad hoc tactical asks alongside strategic inputs. 



  • 9-12 years of consulting and/or strategy & operations experience
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience. An MBA degree is a plus
  • Experience working in Corporate Strategy, Consulting, or Investment Banking sectors, with a preference for E-commerce and/or the advertising industry
  • Ability to multitask while working on different aspects of the business, with cross-functional teams across different time zones
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills required to build strategy narratives and drive messaging with internal / external stakeholders
  • Good analytical skills and a high level of comfort with large data sets to be able to understand key metrics and apply these to optimizations
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders across regions to maintain rhythm of business
  • You're never satisfied with the status quo - you are always looking for the next opportunity to improve performance
  • You can turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans


What You’ll Do

Strategic Initiatives

  • Help drive medium and long-term strategy for the business and monthly / quarterly planning and review exercises for different parts of the business
  • Build predictable mechanisms to track revenue, forecast risks and flag any deviations that may lead to the businesses missing their respective goals
  • Report, maintain and forecast all business metric results including customer growth, retention, recurring revenue, engagement, NPS, and margin
  • Support any collaterals that may be needed for board meetings, internal townhalls, team all-hands, etc.
  • Regularly revisit the organizational design and structure, driving re-org and planning exercises, as needed 

Program Management

  • Project manage ad-hoc strategic projects for high-priority initiatives informed by data analysis, customer feedback, and industry trends. Projects will be across legal, finance, Ad operations, and more. Projects could be internally and/or externally facing
  • Work closely with the leadership in optimizing processes and monitoring the effectiveness of their efforts
  • Work with the unit leadership to prioritize and support an open and transparent team culture through various initiatives like offsites, newsletter communications, org updates, celebrations of big and small wins, etc.
  • Ensure the most efficient tools, systems, and processes to drive sustainable growth
  • Proactively guide the quarterly prioritization and development of mid-funnel content including case studies and white papers critical to building proof points for InMobi’s differentiation, leveraging your understanding of the ecosystem challenges/trends
  • Be the single point of contact for all central functions like HR, Finance, RevOps, Sales, Marketing, Legal etc. for cross-functional asks
