Outbrain is hiring a Product Manager for our new innovative line of SaaS products for publishers - Keystone. Aimed at the world’s most premium publishers, the Keystone platform is a state of the art platform, enabling publishers to diversify their revenue streams while enhancing the user experience - like never before. 

As a Keystone Product Manager, you will be joining a small, cross-functional team, managing the roadmap for our entire SaaS offering for publishers across platforms (desktop, mobile-web, native apps); content types (articles, video, galleries); and technologies (JS, APIs, SDKs, tools & reports etc) - all powered by an algorithmic personalization and optimization engine. 

The Keystone Product Manager will work closely with design, engineering, and clients on both strategic and tactical initiatives, provide awesome Product Requirement Docs, prioritize features and obsess about the success of our publishers. This role reports directly to the Founding VP, Products.

We are looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, has a “get things done” attitude and is highly collaborative with a small team of passionate individuals.  

 A day in the life

  • Leading the roadmap for Outbrain’s Keystone platform
  • Defining and owning Keystone’s platform success KPIs, including usage, growth, and others - across all products and solutions
  • Oversee and integrate on agile development process across the Keystone team 
  • Leading the Keystone product narrative and strategy. Defining the roadmap and successfully delivering according to the plan
  • Working closely with our publisher partners and lead a “design partnership” program
  • Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities while implementing process efficiencies along the way.
  • Leading communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working closely with the Product Marketing and Business Teams to provide the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product. This involves promotional material, product training, and relevant presentations and papers.
  • Actively meet clients and partners and participate in marketing/advertising events such as meetups, conferences to help shape the conversation as well as learn about customers needs and priorities
  • Working closely with the Engineering teams to assure quality delivery of products  
  • Identifying, evaluating and prioritizing integrations with other technology partners as needed
  • Implementing stronger data-driven decision making

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years product management experience
  • Domain expertise in publishing, digital marketing/martech, and thorough knowledge of the online advertising technology ecosystem - advantage
  • Experience with SaaS Products - Advantage
  • Technical expertise to work hand in hand with engineers in an Agile environment to develop features, set realistic goals and stay on track
  • Understanding and familiarity with Data Management PlatformsDemonstrated ability to lead and influence both directly and cross-functionally
  • Strong analytical abilities and comfort with metrics and data
  • Ability to lead indirectly - influence without authority
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo, and the confidence to back yourself with rational discourse
  • Customer focused, ability to listen aggressively to feedback
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Fluency in English - both conversational and written
  • Expected travel: 10%
