Our Business Development team is seeking a Director who will join a growing team dedicated to building and executing best-in-class partnerships across the sports, media, & tech industries. Part of your responsibilities will be to leverage your existing network and develop new team and league relationships. You will facilitate the internal analysis and valuation process of various business opportunities with key internal stakeholders. You will also serve as a liaison for DraftKings throughout the sports, media, gaming, and tech industries. Sound good to you? Join us!

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR:

  • Lead parts of the business development organization with a primary focus on Teams and Leagues.
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute potential opportunities including partnerships, vendor relationships, new business concepts, and other growth initiatives.
  • Set goals, KPIs, and OKRs for the team including measurement and reporting.
  • Provide role in deal structuring, negotiation, and execution of commercial agreements, including standard vendor relationships, strategic partnerships, and intellectual property licensing.
  • Conduct due diligence and analysis to make recommendations to Senior Leadership
  • Manage team members.
  • Assist in the preparation of senior management deal summaries and strategy presentations.

WHAT SKILLS YOU WILL USE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in sales, business development, and commercial deals.
  • Excellent analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience in leading sales/business development organizations.
  • Experience in structuring and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • A proven track record of managing multiple priority projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail is required.
  • Experience managing and building a team.
  • Strong communication (written/verbal), presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Gaming and/or technology industry experience required.
  • Frequent travel is required.
